Le syndrome de Paris laisserait des touristes japonais sous le choc
Japon - Une douzaine de touristes japonais chaque année consulteraient un psychologue après avoir visité Paris. Le décalage entre leurs attentes et la réalité serait traumatisant.
"Un tiers des patients s'en remettent rapidement, un autre tiers doit se reposer davantage et le reste souffre de psychoses", raconte Youssef Mahmoudia, psychologue à l'hôpital Hôtel-Dieu. Cette année, l'ambassade du Japon à Paris a rapatrié au moins quatre visiteurs dont deux femmes qui pensaient que leur chambre était sur écoute et qu'il existait un complot contre elles. D'autres cas ont été mis au jour comme un homme qui pensait être le "Roi Soleil" ou une femme croyant être attaquée par des micro-ondes. "Les voyageurs fragiles peuvent perdre leurs repères lorsque leur vision d'un pays rencontre la réalité [...] Cela peut provoquer des crises", affirme Hervé Benhamou, psychologue. Une Japonaise confie : "Pour nous, Paris est une ville de rêve. Mais lorsque l'on s'y rend, on s'aperçoit que les Français sont l'inverse de ce que l'on pensait."

On Seiichi Nishiji san
Seiichi Nishiji leading out reigning World Champion Italian (Maspeis?) in the 1960 World Cup (Seiichi lost this race by a very narrow margin). The Italian ended up taking 5 or 6 consecutive world sprint titles which held until Koichi Nakano broke his record in the '80s on his way to taking 10 world sprint titles.
