On Tetsujin
Après le robot gundam qu’on peut voir à Tokyo au Japon, voici un autre robot qui sera visible dés le mois d’octobre, il s’agit de Tetsujin ! Le monstre mesure environ 20 mètres de hauteur et pèse 50 tonnes.

On vous en figurine plastique
Bandai a encore eu une idée étonnante qui ne verra peut-être pas le jour ailleurs qu’au Japon : pour 500 Yen, soit 3,5€, il sera possible d’acheter une petite figurine en plastique. Ok, c’est bien, mais là où cela devient amusant, c’est qu’un soft permet d’imprimer sa photo afin de la coller sur ce petit corps en plastique. Et pour s’habiller, il y a 70 templates différents. Pour l’exemple, les photos ci-dessous parlent d’elles-même… Voilà une idée de cadeau que l’on aura du mal à mettre à la poubelle.

Foreign climbers of Mt. Fuji to get new certificate
KOFU--The Yamanashi Prefecture Tourist Association will issue an upgraded certificate of achievement whose design includes an image of Mt. Fuji to foreigners who reach the summit of the 3,776-meter mountain beginning in July, association officials said.
As the present A5-sized certificate uses mainly Japanese characters, it has not been popular with foreign climbers. Beginning this summer, the certificate will be enlarged to B5 size and the background will be filled with an image of Mt. Fuji. Recipients of the certificate will be able to choose from four different languages, including English and Chinese.
The number of foreign climbers of Mt. Fuji has steadily risen. Last year alone, out of 305,000 climbers, 30 percent were foreigners.
Though Mt. Fuji climbing routes also exist from Shizuoka Prefecture, an official from the Yamanashi prefectural tourist board noted that for foreign climbers to receive the certificate, they must climb it from the Yamanashi side.

Green tea-flavored Coca-Cola
The cola, which contains catechins, will hit stores across Japan on Monday, June 8th. Judging from Coke’s press release, the target demographic is women in their 20’s and 30’s who are concerned about health and beauty.
Expect a bitter battle to take place this month between this cola and Pepsi’s new shiso-flavored drink.
