Just back from the after-party of the Asian Film Awards, held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. It was a bonanza of Japanese film recognition!

Tokyo Sonata won Best Film and Best Screenplay!
Kore-eda Hirokazu won Best Director!
Motoki Masahiro won Best Actor!
Hisaishi Joe won Best Music!
